John M. Dahdouh Appointed Vice President of New Subsidiary

Bulbtronics is pleased to announce the appointment of John M. Dahdouh as Vice President of a newly-created subsidiary to service the Latin American specialty lighting market. Headquartered in Miami, Florida, the new subsidiary will service the entertainment, industrial, medical and scientific markets of Florida and Latin America. Prior to Bulbtronics, Mr. Dahdouh was the General Manager and Director of New Business Development with Barbizon Lighting Company in Florida for 10 years. |

Some facts about LEDs:
• LEDs have an extremely long life span. Manufacturers have calculated the ETTF (Estimated Time to Failure) to be between 100,000 and 1,000,000 hours.
• LEDs produce more light per watt than incandescent bulbs.
• LEDs light up very quickly. A typical red indicator LED will achieve full brightness in microseconds.
• LEDs emit light of an intended color without the use of color.
• LEDs Are Difficult to damage and are not easily broken.
• When dimming is required, LEDs weaken over time and don’t change color, unlike incandescent lamps that turn yellow and abruptly burn-out.
• Do not contain mercury - advantageous for a “greener” environment and reducing recycling costs.
