Retrofit LED Recessed Lighting Fixture

If you have been looking for the most energy and cost efficient solution for recessed lighting fixtures, this is the solution for you! Homeowners, contractors, facility engineers, take note - this unique retrofit can be used in any residential or commercial facility, for new and for old construction projects. However, it is not recommended for outdoor use.
This retrofit unit, which fits right into most 6" diameter recessed lighting fixtures (click here for compatible fixtures), delivers quality warm white (2700K) or cool white light (3500K) lasting up to 50,000 lifetime hours. Right now we are offering the warm white version, but if you want the cool white one, ask us. The unit is dimmable - click here for compatible dimmers. Also available are a variety of colored trims and eyeball trim. Constructed of durable die-cast aluminum, the integrated thermal management system conducts heat away from the 12 LEDs in the unit and transfers it to the surrounding environment to ensure longevity. |

The light output from the twelve 1 watt LEDs lasts more than 50,000 hours and equals a 65 watt incandescent that lasts only 2,000 hours. What does this mean in savings? Running a 65 watt light for 50,000 hours costs on average in the U.S. (depending on local kilowatt/hour costs) - $325. Replace an incandescent with the retrofit LED version and pay only $60 on average. While the retrofit costs more than simply replacing 65 watt incandescent lamps every 2,000 hours, this retrofit will pay for itself many times over. Result: major savings in maintenance and energy costs.
Safety and Regulatory Standards
This unit has been tested and certified to UL standards and exceeds California Title-24 high efficacy luminaire requirements. It can also be fitted with an optional GU-24 base for new construction projects in areas where high efficacy line voltage sockets are required.
