A Letter from the President
Dear Valued Customers:
Bulbtronics celebrates 32 years of service this year. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for helping to make this possible.
Since our founding in 1976, Bulbtronics has become a leading international distributor of bulbs, batteries, and related products, and we continue to set the standard in the industry. Our dedication to customers has helped us build a loyal base, strong vendor relations and a coveted sales and customer service force with many years of combined experience in product research and knowledge. We have also expanded to five stocking locations shipping 30,000+ products from over 150 brands for the general lighting, industrial/commercial, medical/scientific and entertainment markets worldwide.
At Bulbtronics we continue to expand our bulb and battery product lines. This year we dramatically augmented our offerings of energy-efficient LED (Light Emitting Diode) light sources, which may well become the new standard in the industry for a variety of applications. We have adopted the national “GREEN” initiative by distributing products with lower mercury from leading manufacturers like Philips, General Electric and Osram-Sylvania. In addition, we now offer RECYCLEPAK® by Veolia, a series of cost efficient containers. RECYCLEPAK® products are unique solutions for the elimination of universal waste - satisfying state and federal compliance regulations and the environmentalist in us all.
Customer communications have taken a more direct approach this past year with the re-introduction of our e-newsletter, Watts New, in which you can find out about new products, deals and promotions, features and company information. (If you know someone who should be added to the mailing list, email us and let us know.) Did you see us at LDI, FIME, Florida Biomedical, Medica/ComPaMed? - We regularly participate in trade shows and customer events. Be sure to check out. In 2007 we made many warehouse, computer system, telephone, and facility upgrades to increase efficiency. We have also added sales staff and welcomed a new subsidiary Vice President, John M. Dahdouh. Mr. Dahdouh is establishing our newest location in Miami, Florida, which will serve our customers in the Southeastern region of the United States and also our customers in Latin America. Additionally, our presence has grown in the Las Vegas hospitality marketplace.
