The RHINO BATTERY

Bulbtronics offers these state-of-the-art sealed lead-acid batteries at a great buy. Sealed lead-acid batteries are commonly used to power industrial equipment, emergency lighting, UPS systems, alarm systems, jump boxes, light systems or equipment requiring a remote power source.

The major advantage of using the Rhino battery is the sealed (no leak) design. The battery does not need water additions, can be operated in any position, and can be used around people and sensitive equipment. As well they have higher cranking amps, lower self discharge, greater vibration resistance and will not corrode.

Watts the Difference?

The Incandescent vs. the CFL (compact fluorescent) vs. the LED (light emitting diode) Light Bulb

When looking for light bulbs, consider these factors: individual bulb price, life (hours), lumens (brightness quality), and the wattage/electricity cost it takes to light the bulb. Though the incandescent bulb costs less, its 1,500-hour lifespan does not compare to the LED's 60,000 hours or the CFL's 10,000 hours.

Before deciding which bulb fits your application, consider your goals/requirements. Cost/energy efficiency? Long life hours? (Labor) Bulb Changes? The CFL is a versatile bulb (and some are dimmable) that has a similar quality of brightness to the standard incandescent. Because it burns longer and more efficiently, long-term energy costs decrease over time. If cost is a main concern, though the LED bulb may be more than you want to spend, over the life of an LED you will see dramatic savings if you are in an area that has high energy costs - i.e. sports arenas, theme parks and street/traffic lights/equipment. There are significantly less bulb changes and decreasing supply expenditures in these areas.

The Energy Independence and Security Act, the energy bill that will phase out the incandescent bulb by 2014, is bringing attention to the more energy and cost efficient fluorescent and LED bulbs. These newer technologies of light bulbs are beating the incandescent hands down in price, light output and performance.
