LED Lighting Products

A light emitting Diode (LED) is a semiconductor light source that does not contain a filament. Since there is no filament to burn out, LEDs have a much longer life than regular incandescent bulbs and do not need to be replaced as frequently. Additionally, incandescent bulbs generate heat when the filament is activated to produce light. Energy is then wasted on the heat production instead of light production. LEDs not only save electricity and, in turn, lower electricity bills, but they also produce less heat and consume less energy. The low maintenance and long lives of LEDs make them ideal for many applications.

Not sure how LEDs can benefit you or if they are right for your application? Bulbtronics’ knowledgeable sales specialists will help you to identify exactly what you need! Here are some advantages of LEDs over other traditional light sources:

Long Life - LEDs can last up to 10 times as long as compact fluorescents, and even longer than incandescents.

Durability - As LEDs do not contain a filament, they do not become damaged in the same situations that incandescent would. Due to their solid structure, they do not succumb to damage when jarred or bumped.

Low Heat Output – LEDs do not cause excessive heat build-up and therefore emit less heat. This is particularly valuable as climate control expenses are limited due to the lower heat emission.

Mercury-free -
No mercury is used in the manufacturing of LEDs.

Low Replacement Cost – Since LEDs use only a fraction of the wattage that incandescents and compact fluorescents use, and because they last for years, money is saved in maintenance and replacement costs.

Cost-saving – Though LEDs have a higher initial cost it is recouped over time in energy savings and re-lamping expenses.

Make the switch to energy-efficient LED lighting by retrofitting your existing lighting!
